What about skincare, hair and wrinkles?
Silk is less absorbent than cotton, and its smooth surface may help reduce friction against hair. It still absorbs some moisture: no fabric guarantees that all your skincare stays on your skin. A silk pillowcase does not prevent or treat wrinkles. Its everyday pleasure is softness and comfort.
Is our silk OEKO-TEX® certified?
Beautiful softness, with transparency to match. Our silk is accompanied by MQA Certificate of Compliance UG/26M06906, issued on 25 September 2026 by MQA Certification Services and supplied by Oscar Overseas. This document references OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 requirements and includes mulberry silk pillowcases and eye masks.
According to our supplier, our products were tested by an independent laboratory against these requirements. We hold the certificate, but not the detailed test report. Our products are not currently OEKO-TEX® certified: the MQA certificate is separate from official OEKO-TEX® certification.
Ayurdoré is a small brand, and the cost of this certification is a significant investment for us today. With your support, we hope to begin the official certification process in 2027. This is our ambition, and we will share the milestone with you once it is achieved. Meanwhile, we continue to focus on 22-momme mulberry silk, a gentle feel and clear information about our products.
